Lloydminster Sask. Question?

There is a trap club south of the city on hiway 17. They have a large clubhouse and 6 or so ranges. I've never shot there.

Southwest of the city is Hidden Ridge sporting clays range. It's been around for 8 or 10 years. Nice clubhouse and a well setup and variable course. Good bunch of guys out there.

I was just there visiting. Awesome new archery building. Check it out here

Thanks for the compliments on the archery building, it was lots of work, but worth it in the end!.

Like others have said, there is a trap & Skeet range south of town. A sportings clay range West. We also have a 300m rifle range East of town.

Anyone can feel free to pm me for a range day meet!

When are we going to the range?

When are we going to the range?
No idea, unfor right now I am in the middle of building a deck, drywalling the basement, and trying to get loads made up for the CGN gopher shoot at the beginning of June.

All of this plus get the boat ready for fishing, bear hunting, and a wife & 7mo old. I am amazed I find time to sleep, let alone anything else... lol

Hey Spank

Another North Bay boy movin west. This doesn't have anything to do with all the pesky geese flying around here?

Truth is been wanting to move out for years and everytime I am about to go I seem to end up meeting one of them two legged wonders of the opposite ### and they never want to go further than 3 blocks from Mom and Dads!! So now that I am single again its time to go.........:dancingbanana:

One Stop Shopping for the Sportsman: Sheps Sports

1) Lloydminster and District Fish and Game Membership - $25 (LDFGA Outdoor Range included)
2) Lloydminster Pistol Club - (not sure of the price off the top of my head)
3) Lloydminster Gun Club Membership - $10 (Registered Trap and practice Skeet)

Next stops would be Hidden Ridge Sporting Clays - Contact Alvin Flath; and Jodi-Lee Archery for your pointed stick needs. I'm not 100% sure who the contact is for the Archery club, but toxic111 should know. (Might be Carl Furman?)

And the last stop would be Doug's Outdoors for any remaining gun stuff that you may still be after.

For the travelling shooter, other nearby ranges include Macklin and Vermilion for trap, and a whole pile of rifle ranges to suit your particular fancy. Pretty hard to beat the LDFGA range though.

Yeah Carl is the contact for the archery club.. or myself... sat at executive for over 10 yrs with the club.

As for archery it may be time to try it again, lol, we have a very active clube, an awsome indoor range, and a outdoor 3D range that is for the members use.
