Ive had my eye on this firearm website for quite some time. But when i saw the Lm7 i decided i had to find out weather or not i could even buy it.
Because... bottom line... the beltfed thing... is VERY cool.

So, i pose the question.
IS THIS GUN LEGAL in the western provinces of Canada.

(yes its a rimfire and a legal question... but i had to pick one forum room)

Its only an upper conversion so yes it should be legal BUT since it uses an ar15 lower it would be restricted reguardless of barrel length

The lower receiver is restricted. The assembled gun should be legal, but would still be restricted. Upper receiver units for AR firearms are not controlled. I'm sure Customs would be scratching their heads over one. Have you asked them if they would export? Why "western provinces"? Its federal law.

well, the western provinces thing was just so you could pay attention to my !RETARDEDNESS!

so that would be restricted but not prohibited right? Because as far as i know restricted firearms CAN be aquired by citizens.

The upper isn't a firearm, so the only way it could be prohibited would be an OIC declaring it to be a prohibited device. Ok US$1875, figure C$2500 by the time you've got it, plus a complete lower assembly.... Sucker's going to exceed 3 grand. And all you could do with it is plink at a range approved for restricted rifles. The upper assembly, not being a firearm, would not require any licence to purchase. The lower would require a PAL with restricted endorsement. An ATT would be needed to get it to a range.

better get a few before wendy finds out about them and declares them babie eating evil items of mass destruction

I think they are prone to jamming if you have some bent extractors... it cocks the shell at an angle, also I have read that they are a little tight on the bolt head that slides the shell down to line up with the chamber.. you either need to polish it up or use certain ammo.
