We do not recommend Federal ammo, due to the soft brass.
The 155gr FMJ the Brits are shooting, is better ball than M80 or C21 ball for accuracy.
I've run over 5k of M80 thru a SR-25 EM Carbine, but just because you can, do not mean its ideal.
Most of these guns (ours and LMT's) is optimized for the M118LR round - however they do well with other rounds as well.
The UK Sharpshooter requirement was <18" at 800m, that is + of 2MOA

Actually the SS gun was not specific to the Brit's - as Karl had one before he went after the contract. All the Mil trial guns I have seen from them have that barrel and the SF Suppressor coupler.
I've not shot one of the commercial guns.
Federal Brass is pretty soft, and often popper primers result, as well as sometime insufficient neck tension.
