Hey I'm starting to learn a little bit more about AR-15s and I know this may be alittle bit of a strange comparison but they are all in a similar price category from the stores I would get them from...
Im curious as to which would be the best choice, I mean money is a factor but if the rifle is well worth the money then I could justify paying more (within reason).

I also would like to know how the online ordering process would work.. would they be able to ship it to the closest FFL dealer to me?

LMT Standard 16" - $1589.99 (Questar Online)
Daniel Defense V3 M4 16" - $1655 (Online)
Bushmaster MOE XM15 E2S - $1450 (Ellwood Eps) Its semi Local so it would be easier.
Core 15 M4 DI- $1099 (Ellwood Eps) Its semi Local so it would be easier.
Rock River Arms Elite Operator 2 - $1199 ( Questar Online)

I realize that there is quite a difference in price between a few of the rifles lol

Thanks !

You can't go wrong with either the LMT or the DD. There are no FFL dealers in Canada. That is purely an American thing. As long as you have a restricted endorsement on your PAL, whichever dealer you order from will ship the rifle to you directly upon approval of the transfer of registration. You will need to apply for a Long Term Authorization to Transport in order to take the new rifle back and forth to your club(s) of choice.

RRA Operator.

Seriously. Great Rifle. $400-$500 Less!

That is your Optic right there! Or you get 11 P-Mags for $200 and pick up 1/2 case of ammo.

No Really. Rock River all the way. (it also has sights...)

I'm also in the process of making a similar decision ( 1st AR 15) and can some one please tell me the difference between the DD V3 and the V5, as far as I can see the only difference is the length of the tactical rail, the V3 = 10" vs. the V5 = 12" is this correct, because if it is I'm going V3.

I have both DD and LMT and they are both top notch. Way better than the RRA I had. Stag has a great reputation too.

IMHO either buy the best you can afford or the cheapest you can get away with. I'd do the DD LMT or drop alllll the way down to a Norc and spend the extra money on hookers... I mean optics.

OK, I mean hookers.

Windham weaponry for $1199.
Windham weaponry is made out of ex bushmaster employees.
People said their quality is better than bushmaster and it has lifetime warranty.

Of the makes you list, take your pick between LMT or Daniel Defense. Pass on RRA, Bushmaster, and Core 15. If you're going to buy a lower-end AR, you might as well get a Norinco.

Some other quality alternatives include:
-Stag
-Colt (if you can find one)
-KAC (spendy)
-BCM

As others have said, LMT, DD and Stag. If going with LMT spend the extra and get the MRP model. Yes it's worth it. The stock upgrade, sights, QR sling points and monolithic rail along with easy change barrels more than justify the price difference. Otherwise I think I'd go DD V5. For the price it seems to be excellent by all accounts. The only thing I don't like is that the CTR stock is the MOE version not the real one. That ticks me off a bit actually. Otherwise it looks excellent. If going for a rifle with a fixed front sight then Stag is a very good choice too. The Stag 2T I have has the smoothest action and comes with an H buffer along with specs that match Colt. It's a nice carbine.

Don't forget blow! You can't have hookers without blow.
