So far so good. When I spoke with Mark from Questar, i told him i wanted something very close to a C7-C8 in terms of quality and military specs. He suggested me that i should go with LMT, because they provide stuff to special forces and, even if they don't make much publicity, they are one of the best AR rifle presently available. I tried conventionnal collapsible stock, VLTOR club foot and I still prefer the SOPMOD stock. The gun also have a very nice 2 stg trg. and a enhanced carrier/bolt group. The finish is perfect. They are a bit more expensive, but I think (and hope) we get something different in term of high quality. For now, i have to made up my mind (and wallet) for an optic, BUIS and a forearm rail. Got my gun from the Montreal shooting club. GREAT service from KPA who's the manager and the AR guru there.

Yeah just bought a LMT CQB MRP upper. Also got the LMT Defender lower, but didnt get the Sopmod, gonna go with the new Magpul UBR. So far only the upper has arrived, the lower will be here in a few weeks. Fit and finish is good. They are all Milspec, milspec tubes etc. I got the chromed enhanced bolt as well. When I get it built if you want to shoot it let me know.

The case is a Stormcase in OD. I still have to cut the foam. I'll wait when i'll put the optic and rail. Pretty good. That is what PGW provides his Timberwolf with. I wish i could have get the MRP, but..$$$. But good for you! Nice choice. Maybe when i'll go for a SRB (10.5")....hummmm....!!! Are you in MTL shooting club too... One of my friend also got a LMT up/lo in 14.5". He is a member...will start a brootherhood....hahaha!!!

What size barrel do you have??

Yeap, we got ours at Alubox. It is on the Rouen street in Mtl. I don't have the infos with me, but a quick search in the "bottin" will probably do. I heard that the club will get some. Will see what prices they do....

yeah its a nice design. After I saw a pic of the solid piece of billet they machined it from, I was sold. I was originally gonna go with a RRA shortie then add Troy rails. Now Ive got a long continous rail and the ability to change barrels.

Mark must have taken lessons from Svengali!
No sooner did I order my LMT 14.5" complete carbine, then I noticed that he
had one (last!) of the TA31ACOG with the Doctor Red dot...had to do it!
Then, (the swine), he reminds me that he'll have some more of the Monoliths
coming in...now I've got to order one of those with a couple of quick change
barrels...
I guess it's Kraft dinner for the next 18 (instead of 12) years!

yeah he reminds me of a drug pusher...#### I never had a chance! Fast service though.

Just a couple of questions for the guys buying the newly purchased LMT's...

- how does the staking on the (standard) bolt carrier gas keys look? Are they done decently?
- What kind of (stock) buffer do the complete lowers come with - and are they marked (ie. "H")?

Asking as I'm considering a new purchase. Thanks in advance guys...

hsld.

havent gotten the lower in yet. On the upper, didnt look at the staking. I did look alot at the enhanced bolt I got, all chromed and nice looking. Feed ramps look nice and clean.

FYI - the enhanced bolt heads are not chromed but in fact nickled.
