LMT Defender 2000 SOPMODs

As for the stock, i think is actualy 5 positions.

Yep RL1, you're damn right 5.5 Green beret. I love it, but i'm now planning to get a DESO to wear on my bullet proof vest (something concealed)

As for your question HSLD, i'm not too much of a AR wizz now, but maybe other member can help you better than me. Try KAKO911.

Question for you CQB, what kind of goodies can you get for AR???

thought the chrome colour looked alittle off. Any advantage to nickel vs. chrome?

Nickel has much greater lubricity when combined with lubes in general, I have been using a enhanced LMT bolt head in my MRP for almost 3 years and they do work as advertised, clean up is a breeze when the bolt head sits in some bore cleaner and it will remove all traces of burnt powder.

cqb,
I'm not a metallurgist but I thought that chromed steel was subject to hydrogen embrittelment. That would, in part, explain nickle plating a bolt but is there any difference in the chrome plating of barrels? Is this 'hard' chroming?

FYI, I just ordered a Strider Pancake of Death (POD) to mount another knife (Strider SLCC) to my MOLLE plate carrier...could this be useful to you? (I got their last one in black :) )
