Hi guys, need your help on this one!

I'm building my first AR an have a question about buffer. I have a LMT CQB MRP piston top end 14.5" that I want to put on a Tactical Innovation model T-15 complete lower. From what LMT said, I need to replace the "H" buffer by a "H2" one. I know that buffer differ in weight but how do I know which one I need? If I reload, does heavier bullets like the 60 or 68 GR need a different buffer than if I was shooting 55 GR.

Thanks in advance...

LMT doesn't offer for sale a CQB MRP piston top end 14.5"

The make piston uniques in 16" and 12".

Either you don't have a 14.5" piston MRP or it was not made by the factory in which case who knows what the setup is or what's been done to it.

LMT does offer 14.5" length but not in their piston system.

Mark , if i find a LMT 12inch piston barrel , can i just put it in my MRP and be good to go ?

no you have to get the Piston BCG. the DI BCG IS NOT the Same! LMT doesnt sell it seperately right now, you best bet is to get the full conversion ket OR a Complete Piston upper.

LMT piston guns use H2 buffer as well.
