It's semi auto and I've had the pleasure of using it. Something the British army got right in the small arms department. Great rig mate! Jealous.... Yes lol
Blaxsun - I'm assuming you've upgraded the buffer tube, buffer and spring. Did you go with any of the Heavy Buffers products? I was looking at their CAR-10 XH or just the CAR-10 buffer for mine (when it gets in between 12-24 weeks) but was wondering how you found it...(if you went that route).
As well - why ditch the SOPMOD?

I cannot echo those sentiments enough...
x 3. I'd hunt with that in a heartbeat
The acs simply slips on to the stock lmt buffer tube.
I ordered my car-10 buffer straight from heavybuffers.com, took 5 days to get here...
The sopmod sucks for shooting prone, which is what the lmt mws is all about, it's a very accurate rifle.
I put a ubr on mine, suits the rifle perfectly and helps the balance alot.
Nice looking rifle Blaxsun, does the acog have the 7.62 reticle ?

My understanding is that the buffer tubes of the LMT's being exported just have the one position...if that's the case, the UBR might be a great option given it includes it own receiver extension. Never really considered it...thanks for the heads up!

Not that I am a hunter, but friends of mine tell me how great the. 308 round is for deer. Not sure about moose. They are kinda big.
Anything you can hunt with .30-06 you can hunt with .308, moose are not a problem. The .308 was designed to nearly replicate the .30-06 in a shorter more automatic friendly casing.
i bought my LMT308MWS from the same guy you purchased the optic from... i almost jumped on the optic but went with the Spectre DR 1.5-6X instead... its a sweet set-up you have there..
Go Atlas ^^^
