Would this be safe?
reload data for a 375 Weatherby is minimal - especially using IMR powder. However I can find a fair amount of data on 375 H&H, 375 Ruger, 375 Ackley and 375 Rem Ultra Mag.
Would I be correct in assuming that using reload recipes from the other 375s would be safe for a 375 Weatherby. From my research it appears the casecapacity of the 375 Weatherby is larger then the other ones I have listed.
I trying to stick with IMR 4831 (which I have lots of) and to a lesser extend IMR 4350 and working with 260 - 300 grain projectiles

The 375 WBY does not have a larger case capacity than the 375RUM, and using 375RUM data, could easily get you into trouble. Use the proper 375WBY data, if you value your safety, and your rifle.

They have data for the powders you want to use here. Also the Hornady manuals list the 375 Weatherby. Cheers!
Their website has a few loads for Hodgdon powder but NONE for IMR powder. Even the manuals don't show much for 375 Weatherby
- I don't blame them as it isn't the most popular 375 cartridge and Weatherby took their out of production for a number of years. I'm more interested in finding out from the 375 gurus here if I can use the load recipes from the other 375 cartridges without to much concern

Thanks stubble jumper . I had read some conflicting info which indicated the RUM case capacity was smaller so thanks for clarification. I assume I'm safe using H&H data as a starting point if I can't find info for 375 WBY

Ah, right you are. The IMR site linked me straight there and I didn't look closely enough. My Hornady books are showing a start load of 79 gr and a max of 84.8 gr for IMR 4350 and 270gr spire points. COAL 3.585". Nothing on the 4831 though....

Thanks. For $30 US it may be worth it. I paid the money so now I will spend some time reviewing what paid for

Yea, thirty bucke US for a year, but you can print a lot of stuff off in that time.
Be warned though, that they have an automatic renewal system, so if you don't want to renew, you have to be pro-active about it.
