Hey guys


Looking for a bit of information.A friend of mine got out of reloading and gave me a few things, including a couple pounds of blue dot.

I have a bunch of 240 gr and 300 gr hp/xtp bullets for my .44 mag I wouldn't mind pairing up with the blue dot to see how I like it compaired to my usual H110.Problem is none of my manuals have the data I need for this.I would be interested in hearing from anyone who uses blue dot and can recommend a starting load for me.

I haven't used Blue Dot myself but on www.loadswap.com I found this:

.44 Mag, 240 gr Hornady XTP, 13 grs Blue Dot

Thanks for that info, the problem is now solved.Did what I should have done long ago and bought the hornady manual.
