I have been doing some loading/testing since the weather is co-operating.
Had my Custom HB 6mm Remington, My Vanguard in 257 Weatherby, and my custom sporter in 8mm Rem Mag out.

hi my friend try shooting at minimum load and test your grouping again and come back to me just try it max charge is good for impact min charge will be better for stability and to me in your caliber if you can get w760 powder load try it you will be surprise have fun

Appreciate your suggestions, but lower loads leading up to these heavier charges did not shoot as well
as the loads approaching maximum. W760 is great in the 6mm, but only with bullets of 85 grains and lighter,
hardly a choice to shoot 1000 yard competition with. W760 is far too fast for the Weatherby and the 8mm Mag.
Keep in mind, the 257 and the 8mm Rem Mag are hunting rifles, not precision pieces, so moa is just fine for
them. And any rifle that delivers a 220 grain bullet at 3000+ is quite capable at that MOA accuracy.
Regards, Dave.

Dave- what brass are you using? Just curious if you found 6mm brass or if you are using 7x57 necked down. I just finished my 6 AI build this past week and spent the morning today fire forming the brass using Cream of wheat- worked quite well.

I have quite a bit of Winchester and R-P brass for my 6mm rifles, so all I do for long range stuff is weight sort.
I also have 2 - 7x57 rifles, so would be disinclined to make 6mm brass from my 7x57 cases. Dave.
