load for 30-06 165 barnes-x

I have had good luck with 57 grains of IMR4350. This is close to a top end load so be careful.

i used 55 grains of the same powder in the 7600....its a wee bit hot using a 180 grain bullet.....im cutting back to 53 grains of powder :wink:

165gr X bullet and a close to max carge of H4350 hs worked for me..

The same as Gatehouse, the X bullet is very sensitive to overall length. I have found them to be very accurate but only for a very narrow range on OAL, I don't know how you figure out OAL with a pump?

With a pump you do it the same as a bolt. The only hitng is that you can't be too far out of fsactory specs, since the rounds have to fit in the magazine. So you are less flexible.
