load for 7remmag, tsx barnes 160gr

Okay I have to make a trip south to buy a bunch of stuff, and a barnes book is on the list, but for now I need a load for
7mm rem mag, barnes 160 tsx flat base

all I have for powder at the moment is imr 4064 and imr 4831.
can any one help me out?

I ended up going with RL-22 @ 69.5 grains with a Tripple shock Barnes 160 gr

Very accurate! about 20 thou off the lands

that's way over max, mine maxed out at 64 grs of the same powder.

Barnes #3 manual maxes out at 63 grains for 2950 and the new data specifically for the TSX flatbased is 61 grains of reloder 22 for 2863.

Dont buy the current Barnes manual, join the copperclub on their website, it has the new data for the new manul that is due shortly.


69.5 grs of reloder 22 for a 160 gr bullet is really asking for trouble.

You are correct! It is way over max, My load is 64.5, that was a typo,

And thats why you should always double check load data you get off line!!!

The other thing is Barnes has decreased the charges in just about every max load in the new data. Some of the loads they listed before were crazy.
