Loading 147 gr Minor PF with Lee Auto Disk

I have a Lee 4 hole turret with a auto disk powder measure. I'd like to load 147 gr 9mm in minor for IPSC but the problem is that the auto disk increments don't seem to be small enough.

I have some Titegroup but the smallest cavity on the disk is .30 cc which equates to 3.5 grains. The min/max for 147 TMJ according to 48th is 3.2 to 3.5 grains.

Even if I go to a different powder like N340, the disk cavities would only allow 4 or 4.3 grains when the min/max is 3.9 to 4.4 grains.

So I guess my question is should I be looking for a powder measure with more resolution and if so, what should I get?

My pistol is an M&P9L.

Lee auto drum is a good choice.
I load 3.3 titegroup with an auto disc...
I modefied the small cavity be adjusted by use of a set screw. It still charges consistantly

Was it as simple as drilling a hole through the side and threading in the screw?

I've also read that some people have had bridging issues with Titegroup in the Auto Disk which causes squib loads. Any experience with this?
 
Did you try the Lee Auto-Disk Adjustable Powder Charge Bar (90792)? Only cost 14$ at budget supply or 17$ at amazon (depending on shipping it could end up cheaper/faster at amazon). Some people swear by it, some swear at it. For 14$ (or 17$...) it might be worth trying. john92awd's solution of drilling and screw is the same principle as the charge bar.

If not, then most people are happy with the lee auto-drum powder measure. More expensive and not as readily available though.

Lee should sell blank discs that we could drill ourselves according to our own specs. Set of 2 discs with 6 possible holes and we'd get 12 possible sizes customized for our own reloads.
 
Yes, just drilled and tapped very carefully. Put a bit 9f loctite on the threads as I was adjusting.
I have an adjustable charge bar and am afraid to use it because of the bridging problem.
I have never had a squib charge with my ghetto modified disc. (It actually turned out looking good)
I do visually check every charge on my loadmaster
 
I stopped using the Auto Disk for my 9mm and went with the Auto Drum. There is a key that you use to turn the powder drum and it very sensitive giving you way more control over your powder charge. You can also easily swap out drums that you have preset for different loads.
