Tested out my first loadings of 25-06 today and have a slight dilemma. Hotter loads were having a tendency to have a slight delay between the pull of the trigger and the round going off. Wasn't anything too extreme but enough to throw the shot, that's for certain. I'm thinking the primers aren't hot enough(CCI LR)for the powder charge(51gn+ of W760). For sure gonna try out an other powder but of course need to be able to use the 760 as well. Anyone else have these problems or have an idea of what's going on here?

Get some new "LR Magnum" primers. Most loading manuals recommend magnum primers with Ball powder which is what you are using. Not only that, W760 is a relatively slow powder but sure works well in the 25-06. Have you checked velocities? Did this rifle work well with different powder?? I ask that because you don't mention if the rifle is new. Have you tried a few factory rounds??

Were my first reloads and it's my friends rifle, a Savage 116. Works perfectly fine with factory ammo that's why I was leaning towards the need for magnum primers. No chrony yet but one is on the long list of necessities for upping my game.

Large capacity cases, over 50 grains of powder and hard to ignite powders all get the Magnum primer treatment.
WW760 is a ball powder and require a little extra incentive.
