loading 55grs vmax in 223rem

I want to know if someone have a good recipe for 55grs vmax and varget powder thank you

I load that bullet in my little Sako with H335 and a Federal Small rifle primer.

I can't remember the load except it is 1 grain below max in the Hogdon Manual.

25 grains WC735 and a WSR primer - any brass you want. Cheap and high velocity. Great accuracy.

Tried Varget. But I found better accuracy in my Savage Axis 223 with Benchmark. Cant remember the load off the top of my head though.

For 55 gr VMAX, 20.3 gr of H4198 gives me 1/2 MOA for my Tikka Varmint.

Varget works well also but not as good as H4198.

N133 and Vmax, set them with a 10 thou jump.......never looked back

This is a Sub-MOA load for my Swiss Arms. Best was 5 shot 0.6 MOA group at 200 yards.

I shot the tikka t3 varmint with the 55gr vmax with 25grs varget col 2.26 and got 5 shot group of 1/2inches at 100yards work good
