do any of you load 9mm with small pistol magnum primers? i can get my hands on some of it so im wondering if its safe?

i currently load 4.1gr N320 under a Campro 124gr round nose bullet.

I have without any issues though i'm usually loading light to medium loads for 9mm, if you at the max or above i would reduce your load then work up again with mag primers.

CamPro recommends 3.9-4.1gr n320 for that bullet. so if i drop it down to 3.9-4.0gr i should be okay (im guessing 4.1gr should be okay too?). i definitely need to pick up a chronograph though.

so its definitely safe for me to do as long as i dont load them hot.

Yes, it is safe, as has been explained.

Some guns have marginal hammer strikes and switching to a mag primer might cause some misfires.

If you have a M&P I would not buy 5,000 until I tested 100.
