loading for a 30 30 best dies to use ?

I don't use them and Load for 3 rifles and have loaded for 2 more but they have moved on. All have had my re-loads run through them using Lee collet dies only because of the dead length bullet seater die.
As the 30-30 is a low pressure round I have found that brass is not worked that hard.
Pick your favorite dies and have at it. I do recommend the Lee factory crimp die it works very well.

I use RCBS regular full length dies and never had an issue. I would expect the same from Lee, Redding, etc. die sets. The 30-30 cartridge is predominantly a lever action cartridge and the dies are designed to size the brass to work in a lever gun.

Any .30/30 die set will work fine... the Lee 3 set comes with the shell holder... I am using RCBS dies to load for Ruger No.1-A, Win 94 and Marlin 336.

You can just use any standard die.
30-30 class cartridges do no generate enough pressure to expand the base of the cartridge cases.

Small base dies aren't required for anything. It's an either/or thing. Full length or SB. I don't think there is such a thing as .30-30 SB dies anyway.
