Alright so I am loading for my 10TR 20" barrel. I am loading Privi Brass with 168 gr A Max bullets 41.6gr of IMR 4895. I am running 10 thousands off the lands.
I ran 4 rounds through the chronograph today.

1. 2522 fps
2. 2500 fps
3. 2473 fps
4. 2516 fps

How consistent would those speeds be considered ? Looks like # 3 was a bit light. When I did my part I could get 1/2 to 3/4 MOA. I would get a scattered flyer though. I'm not exactly a veteran shooter so I do pull shots from time to time. I'm working on it though, it was windy today too though so I'm sure that didn't help.

The spread is 50 fps from slowest to fastest. Not a deal breaker but you should be able to tighten things up. Your sample size should be 10 rounds to get more reliable data.

One Newfie to another.

Your results are actually fairly good for ordinary loading.

If you want a better (lower) extreme spread, weigh each charge to the same load - say 41.6

Make 10 like that and then make 10 more, exactly the same, except with 42.0 gr.

Set up the Chrony so it clocks speed as you shoot groups.
