Forgetting Dillon is like leaving God out of the Bible. Amongst competitive pistol reloaders the Dillon line is easily the most popular and with good reason.

To answer you poll question, I didn't vote due to the oversight.

RCBS Rockchucker Single Stage

Dillon 550 Progressive

Take Care

Bob

Exactly what I use.

3 lee 1000, a lee original turret, lee loadmaster, and a dillon 550b- the 3-1000 , the turretm and the dillon are all on one bench- the loadmaster needs a bench of it's own

Lee Load-All II 16ga for shotshell (although I mostly roll crimp, I do star crimp some shells as well)

Lee Reloader C-press. I have the 3-die rifle set in .270Win.

I also shoot .30-30Win, but at $9andchange retail, I don't bother reloading for it.

I've owned or used most of the above. RCBS was a decent press but overpriced for what you get (you can have a much better press for the price of an RCBS). Redding and forester/bonanza presses were excellent, CD4D is amazing and the Lyman was big surprise - a fantastic press for a good price. Lee has a noticably lower quality and I doubt I could live with one as my primary press - but for a light-duty reloader it's probably the best of the bunch from a cost-value perspective. Notable exceptions are the lee hand press - a tool I wouldn't be without, it's just so damn handy, and the classic cast is a potentially excellent press if only the linkage was decent
