Loading while Scoped

I've been thinking of scoping my (first) SKS. I like the Choate scope mount.
The only thing is it looks like loading could be a problem.
A short scope or detachable mag would be needed.
What's everyone using?

you can use a tapco mag and change them out as you go, or just load one by one. one at a time isn't a big deal, it's just 5 rounds we're talking about.

I bought a Leapers 4x scope. It is short enough that I can still use stripper clips.

Been searching online for a mag supplier too. The places I've checked are mostly either out of stock, or don't have them listed.

It's Leapers 4x32 Mini. It's not listed on the website. It and I are old I guess. The length is just a bit over 7".

Leupold fixed 2.5 scope works with stripper clips for me, also shortened choate mount.

Red dot on a Choate mount, stripper clips work fine.
