Hey, I got an issue with the loadmaster while reloading 9mm.

The black pin that is supposed to slide on the frame to bring the indexing rod out, it just jumps the slope instead of sliding on it, so the pin doesnt move out.

Seems to me like it's not getting turned enough at the top, and it's not tight enough on the frame, so it just jumps the slide....

Any clue how I can fix this? Loadmaster is new.

Thanks

I had the same issue with mine when I purchased it. The best way to figure it out is on you tube. I would try to describe the method to adjust this but would take forever.

In a nut shell the indexing timing is out. You will need to loosen the bolt on the very bottom of the ram, set the tool head in the correct position and tighten the bolt.

I adjusted mine also by taping a a small piece of cardboard to the handle where it interacts with the index bar head. +2 on Loadmaster forums. another piece of advice, replace the primer system once a year, saves you lots of frustration and ensures you have spare parts.

there was supposed to be a new style priming system issued a little while ago; does that also apply to the new style or just the old ones-?

The priming system is on the 3rd gen now, a one piece unit for either large or small primer. I believe mine came with 2nd gen and I haven't tried the new red one yet. I will order it next time I'm getting Lee parts. I believe they're part numbers 90383 & 90381.

just doing the bottom bolt thing and adjusting to touch the slide fixed my issue.

Simple fix, works #1.
This reloader rocks. I did 250 9mm cartridges in a hurry.
