Loads for .223 Tikka Sporter

I've got a T3 with a Shillen barrel that is also 1/8. Right now I'm loading the following;
Winchester brass, trimmed
CCI BR4s
24.4gr Varget
Berger 80gr VLDs
OAL of 2.356"
It's getting me solid 1/2 MOA, even a shy better at times.

I've been shooting the new Hornady 53Vmax seated 3 thou from rifling.
My short factory magazine has been self-modified to create a slightly longer box length to accomodate these loaded rounds.
Still in load building stages...
N133 is providing highest velocity but creating vertical group stringing
Will try less powder = expecting 3450 fps...hopefully less vertcial grouping

i have one with a heavy barrel , would not shoot better than 3 in at 100 m
after returning it to the supplier and receiving another one that was just as bad , and many letters to sako etc , i found out the problem
simply stated i had to have the bullet in contact with the lands or slightly into the lands
with 82 gr berger or sierra i am getting groups averaging at less than .400 , not withstanding operator error of course.
the 24.4 of varget is a great load just watch your pressure when the hot weather arrrives , of course in B.C. we dont have to worry about that.

My Savage 12FVSS would shoot the same stuff with a similar level of accuracy out to 100m. It's not bad considering the variances in OAL and cartridge weight.
