i am looking for load data on the .338 250 grain all copper barnes x bullets.i cannot find any info on this 250 grain flatbase bullet.it is a real long bullet and am sure i should not use my standard .338 winmag 250 roundnose charges
 
Barnes must have data in their reloading manual. Otherwise, email Barnes and they'll provide you with data.
 
i have the new lee book,and it has seperate sections on all copper bullets.i cant find any reference,even in barnes product list on this weight bullet in .338 calibre.i will email barnes direct then
 
to be honest,i blindly follow load data from books,including powder recomendations.i must have at least a dozen powders on the shelf,so i have no favourites.i am disapointed reloader has suspended sales though.i am sure that the pressures on these long light bullets will entail specific load data.im not even sure my 1 in 10 shilen will stabilise,yet i cannot find any info on these bullets
 
I use the H-4350 load With the 250 g X bullet listed above, 2630 fps avg 5 shots, shoot 1 MOA avg. Will admit never harvested anything with this load.
