I have a large quantity of recently manufactured Winchester 12 ga "super target" hulls - the 3-piece ones with the thin ribbed hull, Zinc plated steel base and a separate, very deep cup wad in the base. (makes the interior seem tapered) They are not the same as the old xpert hulls. Does anyone know of reloading data for these? I undertand they are not meant for long reloading life but I'd like to get one or two loads out of them. Thanks.

They aren't worth loading, because you may not size the base properly. Plus they could have splits in the tube.

Chuck the and get some hulls that have brass bases.

You can load these using Win AA data - the long tapered base wad closely duplicates the interior profile of an AA hull.

Quality of these hulls seems to be all over the map. The first ones we had around here were terrible, the tube would often split on the first firing. The current ones are much better. I have a buddy who uses these things countless times with good results.

These hulls reload much better if you adjust your crimp starter to give a pretty heavy pre-crimp.

I don't really like these hulls very much, however they can be reloaded if you want to.
