It's great to be able to live in a town where the wildlife wanders by so long as they stay safe and no idiots show up. Last week I saw a letter to the editor about some dumb broad sicking her Lab on one of the local does.
And they think hunters are sick. Argh!
Was at the dentist yesterday and the hunting topic came up. Turns out the hiegenist (sp) lives not far fromour place and has a pet doe with triplets that come to visit on a daily basis. She just moved there so I decided not to tell her black bears have wandered through the past two years in a row.
They are developing across the road from us now, there goes being able to watch the deer from the window.
Randy, you're going to get me divorced by getting me into archery! LOL
The incident Davey mentioned is familiar to one of mine to, in the same spot.
A very nice 5x5 was standing on #22 and I almost hit him with the Grand Am.
He had uprights for a football field on his head! Haven't seen him in years.....
