Location of 2010 IPSC Canada Nationals

I vote 3 gun, Dan-o-mite, you can race my AR.

Ok, so I'm partial to the shoot-offs. I made it my goal to make it to the shoot-offs, and last year I reached that goal,..... and there was no shoot-off.:(

Either way I hope you're coming to the Nationals this year, Manitoba definately needs a better turn out than last year.

By the way, how did you get a trader rating of 24???. I How many parts have you been swapping in and out of that AR??? :ar15:

There's not going to be 3 gun. I don't even know when the last 3 gun match was held in the Lower Mainland....certainly not in the last 4 years.

Dates Firm?

The dates for the 2010 IPSC Canadian Nationals are still reading from July 29th to August 1st (tentative dates).

When can we expect firm dates? I need to know before Feb. 1st because that is the cut-off date for me to submit my holiday sheet to my employer.
:)

Update as of the last Nationals Meeting.

Ok, here's what I have...

Stages are picked and will be off to Level III for approval soon.

16 stages with approx. 300 rounds.

Schedule:

Sign in: Opens Wednesday, July 28th, 2010.
IPSC Canada AGM: July 28th.
Main match: July 29th to July 31st.
Shoot-off (Tentative): August 1st.
Banquet: August 1st.

Short of Sean not wanting the AGM on the sign in day, this is the schedule.

As for a 3 gun match versus a shoot-off... I don't see it happening... Why you ask? Well, for the following reasons.

I don't want to ask officials to work an extra day.

I don't want to put on another match.

Sorry...

Nawww...that's boring. On the start signal, we should do a 100 meter dash, chug a ROOT beer, then have to rappel down a cliff, snort a teaspoon of tabasco sauce, touch a baseball bat to our forehead and spin around it 15 times, recite the alphabet backwards THEN retrieve the gun, load all ammo from components on a press using mystery components before actually shooting the steel.
