Lockhart Raven 9

I wonder how many pre-orders they actually have so far? Doesn't sound like many are going to bite! I did a tiny bit of Google-fu and golly gee whiz, Lockhart Tactical has a lot of bad noise on the internet.

It's in the feature list but the video definitely failed to demonstrate it. That would be a deal breaker for me.

I watched the video and he wasn't using a bolt release but it's possible the bolt was locking back and for some reason he was sling shoting the rear charging handle and didn't bother show casing the bolt release?

Also possible that the particular mags that he was using don't work with the bolt catch? But it would be a weird thing to just gloss over and hope no one notices.

with that many mix matched mags surely one of them would have worked..........

Armalytics is updated with the FRT for this now. I lists multi caliber including 12 and 20 gauge which I wasn't expecting. The main things I noticed is:

"RAVEN" is not a variant of the Colt AR-15 type rifle.

the recent pics i’ve seen don’t show the rear charging handle anymore. sure hope it’s still an option or i’m out… i’ll buy a fx-9! or maybe even a kodiak k-9

no last round bolt hold open, fires on an empty chamber every time his mag is empty, and filming himself shooting on private timberland property that is clearly marked as no shooting........I dunno man........maybe if he accepts monopoly money as payment, but it's a no from me........

lol, who am I kidding, he could be selling gold for 10% of it's current value and I wouldn't support him, I just like trolling

From the comments on the first YT video:

"There is ambi last round bolt hold opens. Just not installed on this demo firearm. More videos coming with everything on it"

Not quite sure what that means but time will tell.

Definitely no bolt hold option on the test unit, but to be fair, I must have missed the clearly marked no shooting private timberland part?

Looks like TyrannyByOIC address's it, the other thing that caught my attention is that the failure to eject in the first video was forgotten at the end when he claims perfect performance.

I hope he pulls it off despite my reservations.
