There’s a seller on there,That’s good to know. Who makes a charging handle? I could always use a spare
But I believe there’s a shortage due to border issues.
As I said, GP is cheaper, and yes for certain metal parts.

or po-poIf your military you get10% off through Lockhart.
Reddeer shooting center had a couple pop up on there sight but we're gone in less then 5 min. You pretty well have to pre order one to be able to get your hands on one.Wish I knew about that. Damm!
Ya the price was definitely higher, but agree worth it I suppose. Better then dropping over 2 grand on somthing that could be months before you see it. Was still cheaper then what they come up on the secondary.I also snagged one from Solely a few days ago! Very excited, although the price was a little higher than normal. I definitely didn't want to wait for a pre-order
Also wondering if these have the gen one or two top charging handle? I'm assuming the gen one, but would be nice if it was the new style. I guess we will know in a few days.I also snagged one from Solely a few days ago! Very excited, although the price was a little higher than normal. I definitely didn't want to wait for a pre-order
If you can spare the extra money, go with Gen 2 for the charging handle. Also wondering if these have the gen one or two top charging handle? I'm assuming the gen one, but would be nice if it was the new style. I guess we will know in a few days.
So do you know if they discontinued the first ones? These ravens at solely were all shipped with the top charging handle from lockhart. So maybe they will be the newer second gen handles if the first ones are know to have issues. If you can spare the extra money, go with Gen 2 for the charging handle.
The reason they updated it was because a lot of people started having issues with the Gen 1 chewing into the receiver and causing the charging handle to flop around and become loose.

Makes sence, just was hopeful is all. But I agree they are probably just the first gen. Thought maybe it could have been the newer charge handle which whould explain the higher price these ones sold for. RDSC had a some come up a couple days ago that sold out in seconds and they were like $450 less but that was without the top charge handle. Anyway I'll know when I receive the rifle. Fingers crossed.I'm going to be entirely honest with you...I doubt it.
The Gen1 charging handles still technically work as intended and are, presumably, cheaper to manufacture. The chances of them stopping production and just sending out the Gen 2 ones is pretty slim. Specially when they know that there's people who are willing to pay for the upgrade.
I say that not as a direct knock to LH, but just to all businesses in general. They are out to make money and if people are willing to buy something as is, then why change it? specially if it isn't a direct safety issues that can land you in hot water.
I was wondering this as well. I would assume it is the Gen 1. Bonus if is the Gen 2!Also wondering if these have the gen one or two top charging handle? I'm assuming the gen one, but would be nice if it was the new style. I guess we will know in a few days.
Whats great news?Great news!
