Hi all

I recall a while back the "Raven" was announced as a PCC/Rifle option and various social media posts have been made: https://www.instagram.com/lockharttactical/

I was wondering if anyone actually has any experience with these firearms?

It kinda feels like another NR Black rifle that technically exists but is made in such small numbers as to not really matter.

But am I wrong?

It is interesting to see how vehemently people are stating their bad experiences with Lockhart Tactical.

I note that this is also a 9mm platform, I wonder if any 5.56 rifles have made it out

Yeah, Lockhart is not held in high regard with lots of folks posting negative experiences.

I didnt know they had planned a 5.56 version?

I send them very regular reminders that they owe me money and didn't fulfill my order. Going on 6 years now.

Rifle in hand or don't buy, that's my advice.

Had a similar situation, luckily paid via credit card. I launched a dispute after over 110 days of not receiving the item that I was told would be expected 30 days from the date of purchase. He threatened to send my account to collections if I won the dispute which I found hilarious. The law is on your side here rest assured. The Consumer Protection Act states that if you do not receive an item within 30 days of an expected delivery date you are entitled to a full refund period.

I, like many others, had bought something from them that they never delivered, and was fortunate enough to do a credit card dispute and get my money back. Fraud seems to be a staple of their business.

Pre-ordered mine May 20th.
October 21 I received an email that the rifles would ship within 30 days.
In November they stated that any rifles pre-ordered before October would ship by the end of November.
November 24 I received the transfer notice from the RCMP.
Rifle shipped Tuesday. I’ll give an update when it arrives on Monday.

They don't seem to be a serious business. I would avoid them like the plague after reading the horror stories. Someone should file a business complaint against them.

How much do they owe you? (Don't forget to include inflation)

It was roughly $110 all in, I'd have to go back to check.

When I had called visa they advised me I was past the date they could help me.

My fault for forgetting about it for a bit too long

My raven showed up last week. I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet, however, I will say compared to my FX-9 the machining and finish are much nicer. No play between the receivers and magwell. I got the extended takedown pins, which I would highly recommend, and their 3# trigger (it’s a TriggerTech, it’s fantastic, it breaks at exactly 3#).

The only complaints I have about it so far is that the left side magazine release is very stiff and the side charging handle is simply threaded in. After a few reps of unloaded starts my charging handle was on the floor, I would not be surprised if it was gone after one stage in a match.

The BCG is modular, it uses a cross pin to attach the front of the bolts so you can switch calibers. I will get some pictures this week but it seems like a failure point.

Generally, I’m impressed. If it proves reliable, this will be my #1 recommendation for PCC in IPSC.3D401A5F-7D90-4D6B-BB25-DBB5B5CB130F.jpg

Got an email from Lockheart. Apparently they’re offering this platform in 7.62 nato now. Uses Ar10 mags. I will say it’s a slick looking rifle. They’re advertising mid year for shipping date.
