Just a note regarding Lock, Stock, and Barrel in Valentine, NE...

I had an open order with them that was taking a while to get delivered, so I went to check my order status - website down. I gave them a call - no answer. The order was for some Warne rings and these are ordered from Warne directly. I called Warne who was kind enough to check from their end and it turns out that the rings were en route back from Lock, Stock and Barrel to Warne with a "return to sender" status.

Anyone else have open orders with them?

Checked there website, says being updated. I have an order that I phoned in a couple of weeks ago, haven't got it yet.

Hmm this sucks but at least I got my last order.

Looks like they're gone. Acccording to a post at thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=6036762

They're closed for good it appears.
Harvey and Sue Whitney (owners) filed for Chapter 11 on Nov. 17.
The creditors include: Hornady, CCI, Hodgdon, Bushnell, Federal, Lee Precision, Nosler, RCBS, Redding, Sierra Bullets, Bank of America, Sightron Inc. just to name a few.
Good thing my name ain't on that list. I ordered well over a $1000 worth of primers from them this summer and received everyone of them. Hate to see them go...they'd been in business since 1975 and had a "A" rating with the BBB.
