I've been noticing a trend as I shop for a hunting balaclava. Bright logo's on camo. What on earth are these knobs thinking? Camo headgear like a balaclava with a gigantic flouresent yellow, orange or green logo? What goes on in your head?

They do this because it's a very common thing in the camo world to steal or reproduce other peoples patterns. These logos make that tougher.

That said, any company that let's their logo stand out that much probably isn't worth dealing with.

It's more because camo clothes is becoming cool to wear. Add that to the fact that stupid people love to pay piles of money to be walking billboards. Most people aren't looking for functional camouflage, they're looking to show off how they can much money they think they have by wearing big Under Armor, Cabela's or other popular logos. People are inherently stupid and companies love to exploit that fact

1 the deer are colour blind so it won't stick out to them

2 most hunters are wearing blaze orange

3 marketing supercedes everything

Yup, as mentioned already it is a marketing ploy to remove even more money from your wallet and increase the dividends for their share holders.
I wear functional riding gear and and every effin piece has a bar and shield emblem blazed on it. I do my best to minimize the free advertising, but find it hard to find gear that fits my rotund build and is functional , well at least in my experience.
Even my Browning Camo gear has smaller trade name emblems embellished it it, but at least it aint pink.

Go to fabric store and buy some camo patterned material there and make your own balaclava or scarf, that has worked for me in the past as well.
Tight Stitches ... I mean Groups,

I'm looking for camo for waterfowl in a blind, sorry I should have made that clear. I guess it makes sense if you are stalking deer, moose or elk?

I'm going to have to agree with my buddy bubbles from out east.

Camo is a fashion statement now.

Those county girls that live in cities love it.

Your thoughts are spot on.

Like everywheres I look now and I live in the City, is Browning Stickers and Camo... From people I bet nobody would even go outside.

If people didn't buy Under Armour and Browning camo clothes to wear around, the guys who hunt in jeans and Cape Breton dinner jackets wouldn't have anyone to look down their noses at...

In reality, if that 2 inch bright red logo is what spooks your game then you have other problems.

Pro Tip: If the bright colours offend you so much use a black sharpie to darken them

I've found birds to be pretty skittish especially large old Canada's, have had them circle to blind slowly and moving their heads around scoping things out. If they see anything they don't like they just leave. After a few trips out and not a lot of birds we started being a lot more careful about keeping concealed and hiding or removing any shiny metal be it shells or zippers. If you showed up with a large bright logo the guys would laugh you out of the blind all the way back to the trucks.
