LOL... Chiappa "guide gun" spotted at my Canadian Tire $1875.00!!!!!???!!!!???

Went to pick up some rimfire at my Canadian Tire, looks like CCI is starting to eek out the assembly line again.

Glanced up, "oh that's a nice looking lever".... "oh it's a Chiappa, nevermind"... "Wait a second $1875.00!!!"

I guess my question is what exactly are the folks over in Italy at Chiappa smoking? Hmmm.... could go for that all original 1873 Winchester or this CHIAPPA? Decisions, decisions...

That's what I said! Chiappa makes some okay fun guns in .22LR like their M1 Carbine (half plastic) or budget survival rifles like the Badger. No way would I trust my life (as in guide gun) to Chiappa. Plus, I could have just picked up an '86 Miroku Winchester NIB for just over half the money! My post also could have been titled "you know gun prices are nutty when..." Sad part is, some new shooter will probably fall for it, buy it and regret being out a lot of money once they get to shoot a more reputable lever gun.

Isn't the front sight on backwards? For $2000 I would expect that to be positioned correctly... Lol

Man if you didn't jump on that one, you don't need or want a levergun. New adjusted dollar price on those is in the 1700 range
