Questar is KILLIN IT wow

--------------------------------------------

Not to derail but if I have the specter80 frame how does one decide if it's gonna be a glock17 or 22 or what?

Go with G22 slide and you can utilize all three calibers. Just need conversion barrels, G17 slide will only ever be 9mm

So, looking through this thread and the Questar site, it seems that to build a Spectre/Glock 17 from scratch, one would need;

Lower: 279.99
LPK: 105.89
mag 42.99
slide: 99.99
barrel: 224.99
UPK: 124.49
guide rod: 29.99
recoil spring 9.99
night sights
(F&R) 135.00

Total: $1053.32

Am I missing anything? If someone were to order all this at once, would there be a package price?

Also, if there is enough interest, would you guys consider creating a build page on your site? A single page that lists everything required for a build, with checkboxes or links to individual part listings? Perhaps there could be a cumulative discount? The more items ordered through the build page, the better the overall price?

Anyways, thanks again for making all this available to us.

Seeing as how you were able to put this together for us, I was wondering if you guys can bring in 80% lowers for the 1911 from Stealth Arms or the SIG P228/9 from Matrix Precision? (or even better, both!)

Perhaps you could also put together complete packages for these as well?

I've seen some real beautiful project guns put together with these kits.

Thanks

(btw - I would've created a new thread for this, but that function seems to be disabled on your forum. fyi)

You've nearly got everything. The Slide at $99.99 is just the service to bring the slide in, you'll still need to choose which slide from Lone Wolf you want and the final price will be determined by that. If you were to order everything at once we would certainly review the order and apply any discount we can. If we can offer a discount it would vary depending on which component's were selected.

As far as creating a build page we have a couple of issues, first is the variety of parts people can choose such as various barrels, springs, slide's etc. and the second is that our site is not that conducive to this type of set-up. One of its limitations.

Hope this helps.

Scott

One of the things that made it easy for us to offer these products is our relationship with Lone Wolf. Currently we do not deal with either Stealth Arms or Matrix Precision so we would need to build one and get all the necessary paperwork / permits in place.

If there is enough demand we'll certainly put the work into it.

So, who is interested in these 80%'s and which ones?

A Sig p320 or 2011 style frame for Glock would be sweet with a magwell for G26 mags. That allows extension into race gun grip with maximum stiffness using advanced polymers to simply "sheath" the frame. Think "iron glock".
An 80% 870 receiver would also be wicked

probably be cheaper to just buy a used Glock and an 80% receiver instead of buying piece by piece,it would be great if someone started to sell 80% 1911 frame kits,,with our abundance of Norincos,,that would go real nice.

This. I'd certainly be interested.

You should create a new/separate thread for this... you'd probably get more responses.

For me, and I'm sure several others, there would be interest in both SA's 1911s and MP's SIGs.

Any outlook on when they'll actually have 17 or 22 slides available? I bet they're just slammed with orders. Will you do back orders?

In talking with Lone Wolf they're in the works but the staff can't say when they'll be available.

The Alpha Wolf G17 bare slide's are available for order now on Lone Wolf's site;

http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=919734&CAT=247

So yes we can take orders.

G22's on the other hand are still 'in the works' at Lone Wolf with no estimate on when they'll be accepting orders.

We've been told that Lone Wolf plans on offering the same products they did previously in their Lone Wolf line (bare, complete, custom) with the new Alpha Wolf but no schedule is available on when this will be taking place.

As soon as Lone Wolf begins advertising these we'll be able to accept orders, but not sooner.

Pleasure.....

Currently they're selling faster than our orders are coming in.....so if you're going to wait until they show on the site as in stock it could be awhile as currently we're only getting enough to fill custom orders.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll be waiting patiently for them to come back in!
