Is one barrel better than the other in the Glock 19? Lone Wolf is cheaper. Is barsto worth the extra money?

I hate to add to your difficult decision but we are now officially the Authorized Canadian Distributor for Storm Lake Barrels... we should have inventory in about 6 weeks and that will include a full line of Glock barrels... including custom 106mm for the G19/G26, G23/G27, G29, G30, etc.. They also have a complete line of 1911 barrels as well.

Very well regarded in the industry... excellent reputation for quality and accuracy. Pricing wil be good too... less than BarSto.

Hope to have the website updated in a couple weeks with pricing and complete product list.

I not sure about glock bbls by Barsto but when it comes to 1911 bbl.
barsto shoot every kind of ammo well.Other/some manufacturers design
thier bbls to shoot a specific type of bullet better that others
(those geared towards defence market tend to design them to shoot
Hydra-shocks best competetive builders lean toward competative bullets
etc etc.

Mark,

I know you sell them all, and I am sure they are all good. But, which is the best?

That's tough... "Best" for what? Best accuracy... best fit... best finish... etc???

There are pros and cons to each. I like the Lone Wolf barrels but they do not fit as tight as the BarSto which SHOULD mean they must be somewhat less accurate (tighter is better). Having said that we found the LoneWolf to be quite accurate. We also found it to be more forgiving on ammo (again the chamber is not as tight as the BarSto) so it feeds various types of ammo better than the BarSto's which are very tight and very unforgiving.

We don't have a lot of personal experience with the Storm Lake line but from what I've seen it's right up there with BarSto and some ways nicer... finish is superb... quality is excellent... tolerances are fantastic and their reputation is pretty much on par with BarSto's. Having said all of that, the price of the Storm Lake Barrels willl be better simply because of the deal we made and that's being passed on to the customer.

If you want a barrel that gives you better accuracy and a wide variety of ammunition tolerance with high reliability for low cost then choose the Lone Wolf... if you want very high reputation for top accuracy and you're willing to give up some of the flexibility when it comes to feeding wide ranges of ammunition then BarSto is tough to beat. The Storm Lake will now offer an excellent choice of both worlds.

Like I said... it's a tough choice to make :)
