I recently came into possession of a Gen 3 Glock 19. It has a threaded barrel on it and I'm not a fan. I'd think I'd like to replace it with the 107mm alpha wolf barrel that lone wolf makes. Has anyone else done this? And if you have, were you happy with the end result? Thanks.

I've had a a lone wolf 9mm conversion barrel when i had a glock 22 no issue. It was stainless. I know their black barrels finishes were pretty weak.

I have had 3 Lone Wolf barrels but these were the earlier versions, not the Alpha Wolf. One was great, one would only feed about 60% of my handloads, the last one would only feed 30% of my handloads. The chambers were too tight on the last two. Lone Wolf offered to rechamber them if I could figure a way to get them down to them in Idaho.

All three barrels were 100% with factory ammo, but I shoot a lot of reloads so that was not an option. Also as stated their black finish wears off quite quickly.

My KKM barrels have never given me a bit of trouble with my reloads.

I did the barrel swap your asking about with my gen 3 as I also was not a fan of the threaded one. I am much happier with the lone wolf barrel. I have over a thousand factory loads through it with no problems.

not to help straight but i got a threaded barrel lantac barrel for my g45 coming from the south. i let you know how it goes.

I recently got one of the Lantac 9INE barrels, I love the look of the design and milling done on it. However the black finish has worn off in certain areas faster then any other aftermarket Glock barrel I have ever bought. Its not the end of the world but that is my experience with their Glock barrels, love the machining but their black finish is weak compared to others Ive had

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I tried ordering a factory glock barrel first from a site sponsor. It was listed as in stock but it was glitch in their computer system and they didn't have any. Looked all over for one in Canada and no luck. So I ordered the lone wolf barrel from an importing company which shall not be named on CGN. It should be here on the April import. I'm hoping it works well with both reloads and factory loads but I'll update this thread with my findings.
