Hi Guys, do you think you will be making a LSS chassis for the Remington 783 long action? ( I'm thinking 7mm)

Awesome news! I already own 2 Savage short action LSS chassis. My next rifle will likely be a Remington 783 in 300 WM and my first choice would be an MDT chassis for it.

Wait, excuse my ignorance here if this seems inappropriate. But you're going to put a $1600 chassis system on a $400 gun? I don't see the logic there.

Well last time I check the LSS system is only 400 bucks and why do you care? I really like my 783 and it works for me. Have a wonderful night

My thinking is if the barrel is broken, I can change it with 400 dollars or so. I don't see the point that the barrel will effect the accuracy as the twist is the same.

Good morning to the MDT team!

I appreciate that this is a very old post however as of recent I have become interested in long action 783 rifles.

I have already made this suggestion for additional products on your website

I was wondering if this is in the cards in the next little bit here

Inquiring minds want to know! Grirn

Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response

Warmest regards

There are no plans at this time to offer a chassis for the Remington 783 LA, but you never know what the future holds!

Thanks for making time to respond......... I really belive the Rem 783 to be a very under-rated action for the $'s spent!!

To me its quite amazing what you can do with the short action in a good chassis, imagine what a 300 win mag in this platform could do a distance!!

Thanks again an here's hoping - becuase a "MAYBE" is always better that a "NO"!! (Grin)

Warmest regards
