View attachment 147607They showed an MLok forend for the RDB-S last year at shot show. Looked pretty cool, it’s on you tube. Also, it’s come to my attention that the info on Frontiers site about the barrel length being 18.6” may be incorrect? Would make sense for them to use the 20” barrel off the RDB-C to keep costs down. Man, I have waited for these for a long time, now they show up and I blew all my cash on my SLR build. Haha that’s life I guess. I’ll be interested to see what Vault is bringing in, they usually have the special edition colors etc.

That looks so much better than the plastic!

Non-refundable. With these rifles almost sold out, it would be unfair to have people reserve something, not allowing anyone else access and then changing their mind.

What are you concerns that you think you may change your mind?

So pay in full and non refundable then??

Just asking, want to know what the details were incase life catches up to my spending is all or if they keep getting delayed for whatever reasons

Not my thing personally but it's nice to see another new NR black rifle come into this country for less than $3K for once.
Good job Frontier.
Much respect for not jacking the price up through the roof and keeping it affordable as well.
Classy.

Looks like they had some cool prototypes last year at shot show.....
I wonder when they will add the brass catcher?
The metal foreend, heavier barrel and flip up sights is kind of cool at the expense of a bit more weight.

hey frontier can you confirm the chambering .223 rem or 5.56 nato.

This copied from the manual:

Specifications

RDB-17 RDB-20
Caliber 5.56 NATO/.223 REM

Description

The RDB is a semi-automatic, magazine fed rifle for 5.56NATO/.223REM

Ammunition

Use only high quality, commercially manufactured ammunition in good condition of the
appropriate caliber. The caliber of your rifle is marked on the barrel. The RDB is chambered
for 5.56 NATO, which will also fire .223 REM caliber ammunition
. Use only NATO or SAAMI
specification ammunition

Here I was thinking nice, compact 5.56 could be just right for my wife this shoot... I don’t think they had the ladies in mind when they designed the downward ejection path.

The option for a brass catcher is a no-brainer I can't understand why they still don't seem to offer it as an accessory?
