The serial number of this Carbine is 080. The rifle is still loaded with thick redish brown cosmo and has the cleaning kit in the butt. Thought I would share a rare gun (even in the US) that you may not have seen before. Enjoy.

Notes*

No 1TRZ on stock
#80 is stamped at the rear of the receiver.
Stamped matching receiver, bolt, stock, and carrier
The fire control group is EP matching only with no previous #s etc
The cover, mag, and gastube are completely void of any EPs or serials.

Barrel is 1.75" longer then a standard m59 coming in at 22.25"

Interesting, that's the average length of the M59/66 series but without the grenade launcher gizmo. Looks like an inexpensive version of the above mentioned.

Noticed the 17" bayo right away.

Incorrect. These are the first 100 Yugos ever made.

The bayo is the same length as the M59.... Not the 59/66. Even the stock was made to accommodate the shift forward of the attaching point.

In addition.... Numbers 4, 7, and 9 were found having a barrel 2" longer then the standard M59. Numbers 12 through 92 are recorded being 1.75" longer.
