It's nice to see the pride that our beloved No.4 Mk1*'s were made with. I love both my No.4's a little bit more now.

PS - I'm pretty sure that's my rifle in that one picture. :p
 
Tagged for interest. It also has pictures of the Inglis plant. I just recently learned that my great grandfather died there of a heart attack on the production floor in 1945.

here try this instead http://www.pbase.com/mrclark/root he must have hit tree view. Ive had this site up and running for almost 10 years now I think. The only thing standing at Inglis now is the AR Williams building and the red clay brick. Condo's have prevailed once again instead of history.

Long branch? well we all know its fate, gone one small building still stands and the last time I was there it was some metro police facility.

The photos labled "Long Branch Employee's Collection" are a bunch of ones I scanned out of my grandmother's scrapbook. She worked there from 1941-1946, inspecting and stamping receivers.
