Somebody could give me precision about this markings on this cast alloy butt plate of a Long Branch 1943?

The identical marking can be found on the cast handles of the early Cdn sten loading tools, and on the cast base plug of the Canadian no36 grenades. I would also like to know what company this was.

Yes. A friend of mine win the sweepstake. He got it on page 585 of "THE LEE ENFIELD, A Century of Lee-Metford and Lee-Enfield Rifles and Carbines" by Ian Skennerton.
