Long Distance/Precision Shooting Course

Just driving back from RFMA in Hanna, AB got sidetracked in Calgary. Took Level 1 / Level 2 Precision rifle -combined 8 days of classroom and shooting. Great courses taught by some great guys at a top notch facility. The strong every changing prairie winds, high temps accompanying mirage made it interesting and was a great learning experience. Speeds were lows of 4-5mph averaging between 7-9mph, a few days fluctuating between 8-20mph.

Strongly recommend to anyone contemplating attending a course such as this. Trying to free up some time for Level 3 in September.

Hey bud, I was also with you at the Level I course in July. I was the tall(est) guy there with the shortest rifle. Man it must have got boring for you always ringing that steel with the 6.5CM :p

For anyone thinking about it I learned a ton from Rob, Maury and Petey. Great group of guys. Great facility. Can't recommend it highly enough. Never thought that I'd have the cheapest gun there and I spent 3k (with optics).....but it still shot out there like everyone elses. If you get the chance to bring a buddy (like I did) it was twice the fun, we both had an awesome weekend.
