Long Eye Relief Scopes on K98

She shoots great. I've had her out on the 200 yd range and hit black everytime. I use one eye method only. It's a nice scope to, however sometime I wish I got the Leopold 2x however the price was a little out of my range at the time.
 
Thanks Fat Tony. It is funny how it goes sometimes. I never even thought of buying the rifle in the first place but some guy was hard up for cash and I got it for $120.00 and fell in love with it. Unfortunetly, Scout mount, scope, authenic sling and bayonet it got expensive :)

I ordered their insta-mount base I was planning on using it on my 1918 SMLE #1 MKIII*(RSAF) but I was trying it for a trial fit on there, it might be me but it didn't seem to fit there so good; I'm now wondering if my SMLE receiver is out of spec(war time finish?), so I might just stick with irons on her for now, but the S&K base seems quite well finished, I think if you order the S&K style rings, the base comes in steel, but if you order the Weaver stye, I'm not sure but I think it comes in aluminum, anyone know for sure? Winchester-1897, is that an S&K base on your Israeli?
