I have been working on restoring a 1895 Long Lee-Metford MkII.
I have found just about everything I need, with the exception of the top wood or handguard. I also need a Clearing rod, and an early magazine with the loop on the front for the link which keeps it attached to the rifle. I found (stacking) piling swivel, and it appears to be an early style without the later improvements.
The stock has a small chip out of the stock. I need a few suggestions about how to repair it?
