Well here are a couple of teaser pics. The Mrs. and I have decided to pass the 1500 meter mark and hooked our selves up with a .50 BMG built by the stars guy you know ******* ******** ***** ****** or He who can not be named. We have only had it out to the range for a WOW factor shoot but hope to get it down south to stretch it out when I get some time off. It is an increadable rig to shoot and a total rush. If you ever get the chance to shoot one you will be hooked is all I can say..Range report to come.:D . It is topped off with a Night Force NXS 8-32X56 illuminated rectical.:dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :D

Holy *hit, I gotta get one of those,,,

I'm sending him an email as soon as I'm finished here!

OOOOHHHHH YYEEEAAAAH, BABY!! That sucker has to have some horse power behind it!

I was out at the range with my 300WM the other day thinking it was fun making things "go away" at long range with it, now it pales in comparison.

TIME TO MOVE UP TO THE BIG HAMMER!@

The .300 win mag still rocks and you can't replace one with the other....two totally different worlds. I will never give mine up. The fifty is going to take us out a couple miles if we do our part. The practice with the .300 is much much cheaper than the .50 also. when I sqeeze off the .50 I want to have my **it together or I won't even be able to afford Kraft dinner.....although some of those noodle soups taste great.:D

Hehe I knew whos gun it was the second I laid my eyes on it.. Looks great and I am 100% sure it looks great too!

Lets see some target pics when you get a chance and see how she shoots

HAHA I knew you'd be buying one. That's why I limit my visits with him to a few hours at a time.:D He's got me thinking about one of the cro-mo ones. Maybe even that laminate stocked job.

Glad to see the space gun found a new home. But when does Deb get her own?

Rohan, the gun is the cheap part, it's the ammo thats going to break the bank. The cost comes down to the options you get, Kinda like buying a car.
I will be reloading for it in time, not geared up for it yet but maybe Danger Deb will take care of that for me by Christmass.

B.U.G. If you knew you should have warned me;) :p , I have to spend less time talking to that guy I only have one job!! It must be simular to a drug addiction do they have an AA group for gun nuts anonamous?:beerchug: :D Think this thing would do one hell of a job on some Caribou. Those styles of .50's you mention are all nice, he also has a new one on the drawing board that Use's the lower of an AR-15.....don't think I can say more on it right now but I did see a bunch of unmilled lowers and heard some neat design plans for an economical and accurate .50. Keep it in mind and he may let you in on it. I may need another to keep Danger Deb happy.

As far as groups go I won't be wasting to much time shooting groups if any, I will be using it at extended ranges.......hopefully miles to make interesting targets disapear in ways that make you go "ooooooooooohhhhhhhh and aaaaaaaahhhhhh lets do that again.":dancingbanana: Will try and get pics of that.

Ben I will be joining the club and tapping you guys for tips and maybe hook up for a shoot or two.:) I already posted on the Canadian .50 board. I have heard there are a few .50's up here in FT.Mac already, I will see if I can hook up with those guys and get a group together up here.

Thanks for the interest and kind words on the post and PM's will do my best to post some interesting pics and let ya know how I make out with it. All I can say is what a rush so far and I havent even began to stretch its legs yet. As for Mrs. LRC ... Danger Deb Her smile scares me when she shoots it.;) :D :ar15:

I showed you mine it would be neat to see some pics of your guy's .50's so feel free to post them. I don't see many .50 threads in the precision end and I know they are out there so lets see them. And share some stories and educate each other on them. Come on Ben (CDN Shooter) post your pics.
