Long Range Canuck and Danger Deb go .50

Awesome rifle, what action is that? The action looks so short! Looks like the bolt would be 1/2 way up into the barrel! Any pics of it with the bolt open? Or of the bolt itself?

Here's some pics of the action Kieth, It is a very practical, but efficient design with a tight lock up. Hope it helps Kieth, if you need more photo's let me know.

Welcome to the 50 club LRC. When you get it sighted in, think about hunting with it at distance. Until one has tried it, most will NEVER understand the rush nor what the rifle will do. Everything less than 460's you can now consider light varmint calibers.

All ready have the hunt planned and the wife and I got our draw. Will be heading a few hours east of Calgary in November to let the .50 reach out and also get some long range hunting in with the .300's. Will let ya know how that trip goes, hopefully have some great pics to go with it.

I'll remember that next time you need someone to reload your ammo!!;) wouldn't you look good at the range sitting behind your rifle saying bang, bang!! while everyone else is realy shooting:dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :runaway: As far as shooting MY .50BMG I will have to think about that, wouldnt want you to break a nail, or let the muzzle blast mess up your hair, seems the recoil has already done some brain damage:p :D . Or maybe when we head into the bush to do our Long range shooting you wouldnt mind packing the .50 and the ammo ;) :D :D :D :D I think we should stick with its OUR rifle.:)

..... I will waite for the public apology:eek: :p :D. And the private make-up:D

Besides, Deb, we all know the .50cal rifle builder who is great friend to all of us, who I am sure would be more then happy to reload for you if you have some problems there:D .............Sorry LRC!;) :dancingbanana:

Now, can we get that picture of the LRC/DD family side by side..........PLEASE!:D
