Calibers used. 338 Edge = 338/300 RUM -

The 338 Edge got real traction in Australia, partly because it isn't a Lapua. Go to register a Lapua and there are questions about what range you have available that is printed for the cartridge.They can get a little weird about things that smell like long range military. Register an Edge and hey, that's a hunting cartridge right? Gonna go whack some buffalo?
