Long Range Shoot(edmonton Area)DATES POSTED

mutt all i can think of is a small generator with a 110 volt motor, they are easily reversed with a switch that princess auto sellls. someone would have to manually reverse it, either lots of extension cord or sit behind one of the berms ( not really sure if that is acceptable or desireable though)

Hey Anyone Know What Kinda Twoway Motor I Could Use To Make The Mantarget Walk Back And Forth. Its A Little Harder To Make It Work Than I Thought. I Have The Electricians At Work Trying To Figure It Out So Im Not Dead In The Water Yet But Any Ideas Would Be Great.thanx

Mutt....ever think of an warn ATV winch with a snatch block or two for changing direction? Just spool it up with enough clothesline or 3/8-1/4 rope and you should be able to run it up and down the range at will. Have a running quad for power or a few deep cycle batteries should do the trick.

PS If there is still a slot for a team keep me informed Deb and I are still going to try and make it if all goes well and falls into place. So much to do so little time.

Just a thought

yep i thought of using a winch and extending the spool and having one wire feed on the top and one on the bottom so when one spools in the other spools out. but i would like to go with a 2 way electric motor and some limiting switches. i think illl call werewolf. and yes brian i will hold ur spots as long as i can.

Okay I Called Everyone To Confirm There Spots For Next Weekend And I Had A Couple Teams Cancel So Im Sitting At 10 Teams For Both Days. So There Is Still Lots Of Room. The Walking Mantarget Is All Built And Im Just Working The Kinks Out Of It. Any Questions Just Let Me Know.

For anyone that is wanting anything from Alberta Tactical Rifle's website, send us an email because Rick is coming up Thursday afternoon and I'm coming up Friday afternoon. Bring cash or cert. cheque and you'll save the shipping which for bullets and powder tends to get costly. See you all there.

Cheers,

Troy
