long range shooting ( with pics )

Shot this AM with the 100yd target. Tough conditions with heavy mirage and gusting up to about 20-25 km/h. Mirage was swapping left to right. Held along a line 8o/c to 4o/c in the 9ring. Rem 40X- 36xLeup. 22 shots incl. 2 sighters in 16min 40sec. Well within the alotted time.

Thanks kombayotch - these targets are great for getting trigger time for our Champs on the 1st at 200.

Really getting into this. I had to hit the range again this morning.

Did 10 shots into just under 1.25" @ 100 yards. Very little if any wind.

Now I just need to print out some of the proper targets, but the #5 ring on mine is 15/16ths". I should try to get my uncle interested, I think we could find a spot on his 60 acres we could shoot at least 200 yards on.

I put a another bolt on the back of my Mark II but had to hide it under the trigger guard.
Not the best. How did you do yours?
How do you lighten the trigger on one? Mine is old not one of the new accutriggers?

my third bolt is goin trough the stock into the recoil lug, I made a taper into the recoil lug and polished it to be able to do the bedding.

5 round group on steel with 50BMG at 1000 meters.

There were plenty of other guns firing at the target... but only one .50... the difference is pretty clear. ;):D

And a vid of some of the other guys shooting it after I got my group.

22LR 400 yards

I love shooting long range with the 22LR. This is me shooting 400 yards at a 24" square steel plate a couple of summers ago with a savage mark II BTVS Left handed.

I'm not sure how to make the video embeded vs a link. If someone PM's me an answer I'll edit it.

Thanks
