So I dropped by my local shop on the weekend to pick up shells and ended up holding an XCR-L for the first time.
Got to say, I love the weight and ergonomics on it ... I know its a personal thing :)
However the FAST stock is a major problem for me. I had it run out as long as it goes and it's still 1.5 to 2 inches too short for me (I'm 6'4")
Furthermore, the end of the cheek rest where it extends jams right up into my cheekbone.
So, love the rifle, hate the stock. I know you can put an AR stock on but many AR's I've tried the stock is too short as well.
Can anyone recommend an aftermarket longer stock or are there any tall shooters out there with XCR-L who can share their setup?

Any adapter you go with will give you a longer LOP than you would have with an AR. NEAs adapter is the longest. Have you tried squaring your shoulders to the target or are you standing more sideways? It makes a big difference.

The way the NEA works even an AR stock is longer than on an AR. I didn't care for the Fastock on mine, so I got the NEA adapter. I wanted a Magpul PRS for stability and accuracy. However; the PRS was to long to be comfortable on the XCR, and the cheek piece was actually behind where my cheek goes. Finally found an old "Ace" style XCR stock that I am using now, but it's still not the perfect sulution. Long answer to a short question: yes the NEA adapter will lengthen your lop, it may even make it too long, like it did for me.

I am 6'6" and I run a NEA adapter and a Magpul UBR stock. balances the rifle nicely and is adjustable and comfy. Funny enough my rifle might be going up for sale as I have my eye on something else.
